Christmas Morning

Andreas family tradition dictates that the children come down the stairs Christmas morning and the adults document their surprise and glee upon spotting the Christmas splendor. This is the first year Karen has not had to come down the stairs (last year she carried Kyle) so a very exciting moment. She's a real adult now.

Kyle's Christmas card from mom and dad was a big hit.

Pictures to come later when i can get them uploaded.

Chicago Weekend

We went to Chicago for Sarah Bay's wedding, but unfortunately did not get any good shots of the wedding. Needless to say, the bride was beautiful, as was the setting. Fun was had by all.

Goz, Sharon & I await the first cocktail of the day.

The lovely Blakes

And the rest of the lovely ladies, mojitos in hand.

The end of a beautiful evening.

Meanwhile, back at babysitting central,
Mardi Gras is in full swing.

Kyle had music lessons from Uncle Matt.

The two definitely bonded over music, Kyle is quite successful on the drums!

Halloween 2009

Kyle's all ready to go for his first trick or treat experience.

Daddy keeps the lion out of the snow.

The whole family, including long lost uncle earl in the background!

Where did all the candy go?

Monkey food for the lion.

Dominican Republic Trip

We headed to the DR for a week to attend Kevin Schelenski's wedding. It was quite an
adventure traveling so far with Kyle, but he was a trooper. I think mom and dad were more
wiped out than he was. Scott and I had a chance to go visit my Peace Corps stomping grounds and I was amazed by how much has changed. It was definitely an adventure!

We couldn't have asked for better weather or warmer water.
Kyle spent a good deal of his time in Punta Cana at the beach
or in the pool.

He also loved ordering room service.....

Dining Italian Style.....

Or dining on pizza al fresco.

Daddy and Kyle try to catch up on world events on our way
to Santo Domingo.

Kyle loves feet!

Experiencing some Dominican dancing and food in the
company of my friend Rosangel and her boys.

Our last night we had a great family meal.

Grandma E's Visit

Kyle loves the carousel at the zoo, but refuses to smile. He
takes it very seriously.

Hoping we don't lose a finger.

Sleeping bear

We went to Book Club at the Zoo, which you can tell Kyle thoroughly enjoyed!

We saw many wild animals lurking in the brush.

Grandma's favorites.

Panty Raid!

I can't seem to keep Kyle out of our underwear whenever I fold laundry. This day was a classic. I think he was meant for the stage with some of these expressions!
