Anniversary in Santa Fe
Here we are, six years in. Sorry for all of the artsy pics, but it was such a
beautiful weekend, the outdoors beckoned to be shot!
Fall Fun
We did the Susan G. Komen walk for the cure this year.
The highlight for Kyle was definitely the train ride down.
Ready to walk. It really was a very moving experience.
We made it the whole mile of the family walk!
It was a beautiful 80 degree day for pumpkin hunting.
Kyle's first pony ride went pretty well.
Grandma Elaine came for a great visit and survived the
terrible twos all over again.
We carved some lovely pumpkins with Kyle's help.
Our neighbor, Ned, bought a new raft so Kyle
got in some practice for next year's adventures.
River Rat
Halloween Dragon, Kyle loved his candy until it made him
sick one night. Nothing like a little natural consequences
to drive home a life lesson.
Kyle and Scott getting ready for the lantern walk at his
preschool.
Kyle has been helpful with the leaves!
Our Halloween dragon doing a little dancing.
A new classic, the first 20 seconds accomplish the laughter,
the rest is just Kyle and his own rendition of Hey Jude!
Rocky Mountain Camping
Great campsite, thanks Ryan Blake!
Cutest bedhead ever! (Beckett, not Jorg)
India is anxious to hit the trail!
The blondes definitely had more fun on this trip.
Kyle is a trooper, but was probably ready for a nap on this one!
Our new tent was very snuggly, we've since upgraded to a
bigger model to accomodate Elsa's bed!
Kyle is tired of being a passenger. We're ready for
backpacking next year.
Mountain Weekend
Beautiful fall hike near Beaver Creek.
Kyle performing his Ferdinand the Bull routine
Kyle had his first ice skating experience, per his request.
It was short, but fun. It would have gone much better
if mom and dad weren't so rusty on their blades.
Ryan & Beckett were much more graceful.
Not the most glamorous ever, but we had a great scenic drive
home.
